Spain is basically dead in August when it comes to EFL work as everybody goes on vacation. Going to see my family is a round-trip flight that I really can't afford.
Are there countries within the EU that have August EFL work? Relative to being a bum in Spain during August, a month at a summer camp elsewhere could be beneficial if not for the money, then for the travel and experience. |

So fly to Malta and get a job.
Is it that easy to obtain a summer ESL job in Malta? Would I be able to set up interviews online from Spain then travel to Malta and do them? |

I guess the best place to ask those questions would be with schools on Malta 
I have friends who've done summer schools there, but I've no idea of the hiring process. Maybe someone will come along with actual knowledge. I only know there are a lot of summer schools on Malta that are pretty active. |

| Berlitz (Spain) used to run summer camps for the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha. For me they were the highlight of the year. |
