Sorry if this has been a topic before, but a search with "age" gets 195 posts from all countries.

China and Thailand seem to be the only older teacher friendly countries for EFL teaching, but I do not want to go to these places. I taught for a number of years in Korea and Taiwan, and just want to teach another year or two somewhere different.

Is there an upper limit on age in CR? If so , approximately at what age will it become difficult/impossible to get hired?

Try your search with "age" again and specify "Costa Rica". That will give you 19 posts.

I worked in Costa Rica for a year. I worked with a 60+ woman and also a 73 year old woman. It is possible, but yes, it is difficult.
