I have been offered a contract at the International School of KL (ISKL). The salary, bonus, holidays, teaching hours and duties, housing, medical, flight are all acceptable to me. However, the contract stipulates that I pay a 1000 euros deposit to guarantee my intentions (due to problems with past foreign applicants). Is this legit? Is this standard? What would you do in my shoes? Thanks |

I contacted the Head of the School. I am the second person to fall for this scam. Luckily I have not lost any money. |

Pooroldedgar,
Anyone who asks for money upfront to secure a job, etc. is a scam artist.
I think what ryokosha implied, but didn't state was before he sent any money he checked with the school directly and discovered that it was a scam.
BTW: I am a wealthy Nigerian Prince who has lost his documents while traveling abroad. If you are kind enough to send me 1,000 Euros, I will repay you ten times that amount when I return home. LOL!
Get the point? |
