Nor would I - but that goes for most people for most of the big chains I think.

I worked for Embassy Roehampton in summer 2008. A truly horrendous experience. The manager was a clown who sacked competent teachers and bullied staff because he knew he was a fake. He was drinking on the job too!! The activity leader was very young and inexperienced.
How i survived 4 weeks teaching here I don't know!
Thank goodness we have the Internet to expose these cowboys!

No, no, NO! Do NOT work for Embassy, do NOT even attend the interview, and DO NOT ever entertain working for them at all in your life.

They are ruthless and rubbish. If you don't believe it's possible to combine those two awful qualities ... THINK AGAIN!

All I can say is that I worked for them based in Central London in the summer of 2001 for about six weeks and my main duties were to meet stsds. on arrival at LHR which was at weekends and then do various duties such as manning the office at the accom. and accompany afternoon activities during the week. Although I had a room to sleepover I didn't always use it as my in-laws lived not far away.
I normally live in Cyprus and as my parents live near Heathrow it was a chance to see them at weekends and sleep there etc. To be honest for me it was a kind of working holiday and a chance to see London after many years living abroad and get some money for it and the tube and bus pass was a bonus too. Although I am a qualified EFL teacher I deliberately chose not to do teaching and from what I heard and saw,I made the right decision!!Bad organization and various other problems meant that the teachers were having a hard time, although the Aussie DOS was doing his best to cope under the strain! For me it was just a means to an end for a few weeks but asked if I would recommend it to anyone else the answer is NO!!Even with airport transfers there were cock-ups all the time-delayed coaches or no coaches, tired, angry stds. and their supervisors etc.Thank God that the office staff were mostly o.k. where I worked or I would have quite the first week!
