Horror stories abound everywhere in EFL with regard to not getting paid, tax dodges, spurious reasons for underpaying people etc.
You don't seem to like teaching much Delph, so why are you in this game?
Direct-hire with an oil company, you always get paid. Precisely because I do like to live, I've chased the money. |

What would worry me about the ME would be that happening there. I can deal with it in Europe, but over there... I don't know. Obviously it won't happen with oil hires and such like, but I wouldn't trust a private university or school over there.

I like teaching, but the creative arts, not the nuts and bolts of TEFL. Trying to teach grammar to the usual neurotic corporate clones drove me insane. |
