Well, through this program your not exactly a volunteer.
You get paid the local teacher pay which comes out to about ~400$ usd per month. |

Enjoy Bhutan At $400 a month you can live well there. I assume they will also provide you with free accomodation. Just stay away from the tourist traps where you will be rippied off big time. Good luck!  |

| I think 400USD would go quite far in Bhutan. It'd make me interested depending on the job, though a quick look at wikipedia suggests there are only 4 universities in Bhutan. |

That's assuming that all you need the money for is to eat. You would want to have savings on the side. $400 USD wouldn't leave you with any savings from your teaching. Bhutan is a bit of the beaten track so it could be worth it for the experience, especially considering Bhutan is expensive to visit as a tourist. |

Yes, this most likely wouldn't be an experience to fill up the savings but it would certainly be a unique experience.
I have enough savings to comfortably spend a year teaching in Bhutan through this program if I decide to pursue it. |
