Hello
I'm planning to take the CELTA course in Medellin in November at EAFIT, though I'm wondering what to expect as far as getting help with a work visa, job placement, a place to live, etc. If all works out, I'm looking to use this as a springboard to jump to other jobs teaching English in South America and hopefully Europe as well! Let me know what anyone has to say about this and any advice is much appreciated.

I am thinking/planning of doing the exact same thing. If I come across anything useful about jobs etc. I will try to let you know. |

Are you doing it through International House? I'm doing the November course through IH but in Bogota. I believe that in Bogota they usually hire a lot of the students as teachers so you might want to check with them.
My father lives in Armenia so after the IH Bogota course I plan on returning to Armenia and looking for work there.
I see you're in NYC. Where are you at? I'm moving to Colombia in October but I'm on the Upper East Side right now. |
