Hello Saikonaut:
I see you found the staff photo. Facing that photo, I am seated on the far right, wearing a white shirt with black and white suspenders.
Please don't throw darts at it.

Interesting - the only "original" staff member is the company manager, Alexander. !! |

Hello Rogan:
Interesting? I dunno. Based on 14 years in the biz, I'd say high turnover of staff is fairly typical at most private language schools, not only here in Russia, but everywhere. People 'do' a year or 2 and then move on to 'greener pastures'.
Once in a GREAT while, a teacher will move up to a higher salary and/or a better position ... and stay on for a third or fourth year, but it is rare.
Strange as it may sound: the highest turnover of teaching staff I ever witnessed was in Japan. During the 2 years I was there (1997-1999) our school lost 13 native-speaker teachers. In plain English, within a span of only 2 years, 13 teachers quit before their one-year contracts had expired ... and that ... in the World's 2nd largest economy, where EFL conditions and salaries are generally pretty good!
In this 'racket', only the fittest cowboys ride off into the sunset.
Warm regards,
kENt |
