I applied to a job posted on a China job board.
It sounded too good to be true.
Now they want me to pay an agent in china 9000 rmb for a work visa.
Here is what they say.

"Hi will be glad if you will join us. Working environment is good. You must contact the agent for him to process your help work visa then you can come and start

The agent is Mr Zhang 18234060448 the fee for processing the hk work visa is 9000rmb. And you can pay that to him and he process for you. He will give you a receipt so when coming you bring it and we pay you the 9000 back . Same procedure as our other teachers
"

This is a con, isn't it?

I know nothing about Hong Kong, but just a quick glance at this disclaimer means "yes". Why does he need to say "same procedure as our other teachers"? Because he's trying to polish a turd. He couldn't even be bothered constructing a proper email, probably because he's got a gang hook, trying to get too many fish at the one time.

Yeah, we're going to pay you a lot of money and give you a nice apartment in HK and you only work 4 days a week. Just send this guy 9000 rmb for a visa.

HA!

Hey, could be wrong, but I don't think I'd be wagering $1500 just to satisfy the curiosity!
