A contrarian response is likely anticipated and invited by its author, David Dunning, co-author of a 1999 study first conducted at Cornell University and hence named the Dunning-Kruger Effect and followed with much supportive study and given the satirical 2000 Ig Nobel Prize though Dunning and Kruger readily note its analogue in the works of Socrates, Confucious, Shakespeare, Bertrand Russel and Charles Darwin.

Unfortunate. The article is of an appropriate length to convey the development of a working premise in current cognitive science and offered in support of the thread's insights...
The substance of the article has little to do with talk-show hosts or American chauvinisms. But, by all means, enjoy your rancor to charade a decorum as nonchalance. |
