Hi
My son and daughter are going to indonesia (jakarta) to visit relatives there for 3 weeks. They are EU citizens (UK). Can they still get a free tourist visa on arrival or have the regulations been changed ? Any help on this wud be appreciated.

The best answer is to tell them to try phoning the local consulate/embassy.
I believe that there is currently a 30 day VOA (visa on arrival), not 60 days as in the past. |

| its 30 days - including the day you arrive. so be careful. after 24 hours you have used 2 days. if you cant get a flight on the 30th day you will have to leave earlier. so it usually adds up to 27 or 28 days. tourist visa is 20 to 25 dollars US i think. ask Willy. also upon leaveing. if you pass 30 days immigration will bight you for a fine AND for money to educate their children etc. protest and they will molest you in the security room opposite immigration. have a nice holiday! |

| Yeah, it's a 30-day visa for USD 25. Also, you have to pay a 100,000 Rupiah fee on departure. Don't forget this as it's a pain having to change currency at the airport 'coz the rates are not the best... |

KITAS question? I hear that the KITAS process has undergone some changes, and takes considerably longer for employers to process. Any information?
