If it is recruiting from abroad, it's likely a scam. Can you give us more information about what you are considering, and the avenue through which it's happening?

If you're on the ground there, as is usual for hiring in this part of the world, obviously your best source of information are current teachers.

I have had contact via telephone with someone recruiting for a teacher to work from January 2015 until June/July time. They were phoning from abroad to myself in the UK. The person I spoke to had poor English, which made me suspicious. It seemed very unprofessional not to have someone to properly interview me. I asked to speak to one of their native speakers, but they never got back to me as promised. I have contacted them to find out why they did not phone me back. They responded with a short message to say that they had found another teacher. I can only conclude that this could be a scam of some sort, or at least a very unprofessional school.
