Would be grateful for any up-to-date information on salaries and accommodation for people teaching on QU's Foundations Program. Older posts here seem to suggest problems with accommodation - have these been sorted out? |

There are a couple of posts about the housing as recent as last month: "Housing at Qatar U.?" (http://forums.eslcafe.com/job/viewtopic.php?t=23431). Be aware, there's no guarantee the housing situation will have improved by the next academic year. Check their website for job openings, but they're likely to do the brunt of their hiring at TESOL Arabia's job fair in March. By the way, if your degree included online/distance coursework, you won't be approved for a work visa. |

two years ago, I was offered a salary of 18,500 starting. Any updates on that or are they still really low? Thank you! |

You consider over US$5000 a month with usual gulf benefits "really low"? Seems pretty standard for Gulf university foundations programs.
