I've recently gained a CELTA from International House, London and it seems like I'm somewhat unusual in wanting to stay in the UK and work rather than jet off across the world... Does anyone have any advice on getting into the field of teaching immigrants in the UK? Is it possible? Where should I start??

Thanks in advance for any help!

B

I'd start by asking the folks at International House London what schools in the area they might recommend.

Hello, brw, and welcome!

Can we assume that you have a passport from an EU member country? It makes a big difference to answering your post. (It's not clear whether you are actually from the UK, or are just there doing your CELTA.)

A useful starting point would be your local council.
