Fancy a trip to Seoul? I recently found out about this new Korean airline that sells tickets from Tokyo to Seoul for 20,000 yen.

Their name is EASTAR JET. If you buy early, you can select tickets that are 6000 yen each way. At the end of the process, they tack on about 8000 yen for fuel surcharge (other airlines use that crappy pricing system too). However, at the end, you can have a round-trip plane ticket for about 20,000 yen. That's quite good for an international flight.

Such a good deal that I thought I'd share.

Yes, these discount carriers are cheap.
I will take Jeju Air tomorrow to Seoul.

Thing is though, is that to get cheaper flights sometimes you must fly at inconvenient times.
I think I will arrive at Incheon about 9:00 p.m.,
and then my flight back is in the morning before nine so I will have to get up early.

If you can get a flight from Haneda to Gimpo, then that is really convenient.

Korea is cheaper than traveling in Japan, plus I think the won has gotten weaker.
Due to a FTA agreement with Europe I like shopping for beer in Korea.
