I have a question. I will be traveling to Europe in October. I will spend a month in Russia as I have lots of friends there. I want to take the CELTA course but I found only one place in Russia that offers that course and that is BKC in Moscow. I would consider taking the course there but they don't offer the course until January. I will fly into St. Petersburg but I have not found a CELTA or trinity course there. Also, I am looking for a start date of around Nov 22nd. My current plan is to visit Russia and then fly to Krakow to take the CELTA course at the IH house there. Does anyone know of a CELTA or Trinity offered in Russia besides BKC in Moscow? I would greatly appreciate any feedback. Thanks. Terry |

hi Terry:
You could try Language Link. They have branches throughout Russia, including St. Petersburg. Whether they're offering something on the dates you're hoping for ... is a question I can't answer.
Here's a link to their Teacher Training homepage:

Good luck. |

I just checked out that language link website you sent me. It appears to be an outdated site. It mentions a Celta course they offered in 2003. I couldn't find any recent information. So far the only CELTA offered in Russia, that I have found, is in Moscow at the BKC IH. Terry. |

Yep, you're right. The LL webpage in question is most definitely out-of-date.
Still, you might try e-mailing them at [email protected] to find out if they're offering CELTA for 2004-2005. If not, BKC would be your only option, as far as I know.
Again, good luck with your plans, Terry. |
