I imagine that I will begin my job search in late April / early May 2005. At that point in time I will have completed my BA in English and a CELTA certificate.
I am wondering what kind of short-term or summer teaching positions would present themselves at that time of year? Are there are countries to focus my search on? Do some companies recruit for that time of year specifically (I was thinking of companies whose customers are mostly university students who will be finishing up at that time of year, or who assist students in K-12 who are studying for government English exams [like Kaplan in Canada/the US]). I'm sure that work will be harder to come by at that time of year than in September, and I will have some money saved up in case I can't get a great job, but I would like to at least make enough money to live off during May-July.
Can anyone offer suggestions about how to focus my job search?
PS- I will have Canadian and German passports. |

Send me a pm if you're interested in teaching teenagers in residential summer camps in Spain. |
