Help!
I'm one of the dopes who forgot to take advice from my mum (ie. if something seems to good to be true, it probably is) and got scammed by the snakey ESL Asia crew who lined my boyfriend and I up with work only to now find that our job is nonexistant. What can I say? I'm new at this whole getting jobs overseas bit and am probably a little trusting... Sooooo, my boyfriend and I thought we had jobs lined up in Bali (we were supposed to be leaving in two weeks!) and have quit our jobs here in Australia, packed up our house, practiced our Indonesian, and bid our loved ones farewell. Now we're stuck...
I'm wondering if its possible to go to Bali, get a job and upgrade my visa to KITAS once there? We both have degrees (B.Sc and BA Hum), I also have a graduate certificate in TESOL. Is there much work around? Would love any advice, I'm (almost) homeless and [color+red]desperate[/color]! |

Yeah you can just rock up, find a job, then organise a KITAS. You'll have to do a Singapore run though. I've got no idea about jobs in Bali. If there are none there, there'll be plenty in Java. |

Would you be kind enough to post (or PM) ESL Asia's latest address for me? I think the time has come to organise a little retribution... |

Where's the plonker actually from? Is he a westerner, or does he just pose as one? |
