Is anyone currently teaching in Tanzania or been teaching there recently? I have a job offer with reasonable conditions but I'd love to hear fist-hand reports about the place. Thanks

As you can see from the lack of response to your posting, there aren't a great number of TEFL jobs in the country. I lived there 5 years ago and then it was a great place to be. Cheap, safe and friendly. Hope someone posts with more recent info.

Mmm, methinks khmerhit's being facetious. I'll answer in a similar vein:
"I think it's in darkest Africa, dude. Head straight for Kenya and take a left."

The International school in Moshi is still running strong. To work there, you need full teacher credentials. Teaching gigs that pay are hard to come by, but anything to get there is worth it. TZ is one of the most beautiful places on earth.

A lot of people have sent me private messages asking about this job but I'm afraid it is now long gone. I found it over the onestopenglish.com website.

Good luck anyone who is looking for work there.
