I'm currently in St. Petersburg and I'm looking for a tutor for individual lessons for Russian. I've searched on google but my Russian is limited and all that I can find are links to big language schools in the city. Is there any site where I can find advertisements or listings for tutors? Thanks in advance.

Can't your school provide one? Try looking here http://spb.repetitors.info/repetitor/rki/ or maybe trying asking on the St.Petersburg reddit.

The language schools often offer one-on-one lessons as well, although they can be pricey (you may have already ruled them out on that basis). I took private Russian lessons at a school on the Fontanka called the Derzhavin Institute and would recommend them.

I know several excellent Russian teachers - they all studied teaching Russian as a foreign language at SPBGU. I don't know their rates, but if you are interested, you can PM me and I will find out. They currently teach in universities in the city, but also take privates.

Also, most unis have courses in learning Russian. This would obviously be group based, so would be cheaper.
