I actually worked at one of the private colleges too, and your number for the private colleges is over 10 years old... speaking of outdated information - and obviously low. VS's source for the SQU number was their website. And your numbers for the two Ministry colleges seem to have no source but you... (and really? each of those branches have over 300 EFL teachers? every one of them is larger than SQU?)

I wasn't the one who posted rude comments against Omani students, nor was I the one who overgeneralized about curriculum. OF course, the main reason the ministries have such a set curriculum is the low level of so many of their teachers. Obviously entry level couldn't handle this Rolling Eyes, but not everyone gets stuck with the bottom levels. Noelle wasn't suggesting that it be presented to every class in Oman, but her higher level students at SQU.

Fortunately I wasn't the one that required the reality check.
