Hi all,

I'm now looking for a job in Rio (despite the saturation, this is where I want to live and work). I've read the threads and see that this will be a daunting task, but one I'm willing to undertake.
I've got both a TESOL cert and MA in Applied Linguistics, along with 15yrs teaching experience. With my resume, I'm wondering what kind of jobs I should be aiming at in Rio; what are my best opportunities?
Also, though work visas are rare, does anyone know where the best chances of getting one are? Universities, corporate, etc?

Thank you much for any insight.

A "daunting task" is right. Apparently you're unaware that Brazil's economy continues to do quite poorly with no improvement any time soon. See Brazil's economy tailspin seen at record speed in third quarter.
