Uni employee encompasses a lot of area. Support staff get the required "national holidays" plus the required (labor law) 1 week of annual vacation time.
If you are an adjunct professor/guest lecturer (related BA+MA or PhD) and teaching content in English in an international program then you can typically expect a month off in Dec between 1st and 2nd semester and then the longer break from April to August. Adjuncts typically only get paid for the classes that they teach and not for the breaks.
If you are an EFL teacher, under contract in the language center of a university, you can expect national holidays, and 2-4 weeks off in the summer break.
