|
|
So I'm a recent college graduate who has saved up money for months to teach abroad. I recently had a job interview with a POLY school in Korea. I expressed to the interviewer my worry that my FBI background check wouldn't be back in time for the start date of the job.
Then things got interesting. He told me about a service that other employees have used. $50, background check in 2 weeks.
This is the service he linked me to later. Accurate Biometrics: http://www.accuratebiometrics.com/fingerprinting_FBI_Procedures_By_Mail.html
Has anyone here used this service before with success? I don't want to end up in Korea unable to get a work visa. Any help would be extremely appreciated. |

I've never used them. But they're likely on the up-n-up. Do an Internet search on them; they have quite a few city and state government contracts for similar services. |

Run a quick search 'FBI approved channelers'
(I have no experience with Biometrics, but they are listed)
My experience-
-Finger prints taken at the local police station (FD 258 card, I believe)
-Paid for overnight shipping to the channeler (paid for an overnight return envelope as well)
-Received the results about a week later
*Clarify the details with the company (channeler) you decide to use |
