My 2 cent's worth, from having been involved in hiring for a long time:
1. keep it short and to the point and
2. leave off anything irrelevant.

Relevant education (which may include an unrelated BA and MA degree, but not your driver's ed course or your certificate in weaving, etc.)

Relevant work experience (teaching Sunday School probably isn't relevant, nor was your job stocking shelves at KMart)

Relevant publications (but not information about your Travel or Surfing or other Blog)

No-one really cares about your hobbies and interests (outside of related research interests if you are really engaged in related research)

The one time I posted my resume (not on Dave's) I was inundated with spam. Dave's requires prospective employers to pay a fee to view resumes, so that may not be a problem here. Someone else may know.

In addition to Spiral's suggestions, you might want to take a look at a number of ESL resumes for comparison. You can check out sites such as esljobfeed.com and view resumes for candidates searching for different types of EFL/ESL jobs.

i'd also include any volunteer experience - it shows employers that you're willing to do little extras. if you're going for an international school position, that's a huge plus.
