Hello all, I'm hoping to move to Bangkok in the coming months and I wanted to get a feel for the type of job a NES with a science degree and experience working as a professional librarian could expect.
I'm comfortable teaching English or science, likewise working as support staff. I've had a trawl through the forum but would appreciate any advice/tips about how to secure a decent job. It would also be great to hear your experiences in Thailand. Cheers! |

Bachelor degree, native speaker (passport from one of: UK, Ire, USA, Can, Aus, NZ), and here in late April means you can find work as an EFL teacher within a week or two.
Licensed teacher and able to work as a librarian, science or English (subject not EFL) teacher then look for professional teaching jobs on professional teacher websites rather than EFL jobs on EFL websites.
(The difference is 30-40k thb/month as an EFL teacher and 60-130k + benefits as a certified/licensed subject teacher).
