It's the praxis core math which scares me. |
I have taken the Praxis test and math is NOT my thing, nevertheless I scores in the 90 percentile. It only tests to about Algebra, so it is not that scary, or at least shouldn't be, for anyone who graduated from High School and actually half paid attention. There are practice books you can get as well. |

I should take Praxis then. Is Praxis I the test that lasts seven hours and has reading, writing and math?
I would not want to take it at the same time but it parts.
Washington states only accepts scores of over 80% so I must study. |

How will you set up your approved clinical practice and in which country? |

Hi, Mitsui, et al.,
If my memory serves me correctly, Praxis II is the test often required to teach ESL, whereas Praxis I, as Beagle mentioned, tests all core subjects.
There are many websites with free online Praxis I practice tests, such as here:
Praxis Core Practice Tests - Free Online | Teachers Test Prep
www.teacherstestprep.com/praxis-core-practice-tests
Free full-length Praxis Core Practice Tests for Mathematics, Reading and Writing with instant auto-grading. Aligned to current 2016 exam
Regards,

Just FYI to everyone who's so generously contributed here, the OP (whose modus operandi fits that of a previous poster who's been banned in a couple of incarnations) is sending out at least some of his signature pms, asking for specific advice on schools in specific countries (in my case the Czech Republic). The school s/he's asked me about requires no US qualifications whatsoever.
I respectfully suggest that regulars not waste too much time on giving well-meant advice for countries, schools, training, and jobs that this OP in fact has no intention of taking up.
The pm I was sent is (typically of this poster) mentions a specific school, the salary supposedly offered, and includes queries regarding housing and income from private lessons in the country. I doubt I'm alone in receiving these.
And happy new year to you, OP. Except that you're not actually original much. |

Ditto that. If the OP expects to complete US teaching certification, his/her clinical practice needs to be at an approved school. That info shouldn't be hard for the OP to research on his/her own since it's not clear which country the OP is targeting. |
