Hi
Does anyone know how to apply to be a Cambridge Ecaminer in the UK (not IELTS as I know that is British Council). THere used to be a link to such jobs but now it just goes to a search english which produces no jobs
https://career012.successfactors.eu/career?company=CambridgeAS
Do they recruit by other means ?
Thanks |

That's their recruitment site --- an opening for an OCR Biology Assessor came up. Maybe they simply don't have any other current openings. |

I guess it is simply that they don't have any openings at the moment:

Applications are made to Cambridge English Language Assessment. We co-ordinate all examiner assignments in the UK (except for IELTS). You can find out more about examining opportunities on our careers site when vacancies are available. You can set up a candidate profile and register for job alerts when a new vacancy is published. Set up your profile and register for job alerts, selecting Cambridge English as Business Unit. |

FWIW, I did some Cambridge examining back in the day. It was quite cutthroat, as you had one central 'pool' of papers to mark with examiners racing to claim them and mark them as quickly as they could, but if you were awake/online at the right time (and you were quick and accurate) you could make half decent money out of it. |
