I've noticed that on the Korean boards, you can only talk about Korea. On the international boards, you can't talk about Korea.
What is the appropriate place for discussions that directly compare Korea to other Asian countries in the same thread?
(Just asking. My guess is that there is NO place. It's an unfortunate artifact of a business decision to separate the forum into Korea and non-Korea. There may even be separate investors behind each section (hence separate logins). As a result of this, and a legal agreement that one forum will only be about Korea, and the other about everything BUT Korea, there is no actual place to discuss Korea AND another country in the same thread.) |

You can compare Korea with other countries on the Korean board (off topic or travel forums).
There are often comparisons between Korea/China, Korea/Japan and to a lessor extent, Korea/Taiwan that take place there.
There really isn't any comparison between Korea and SE Asia ($1500-2k + benefits vs $500-1500 and NO benefits).
If you want to compare countries as a licensed / qualified teacher then there are more appropriate forums than EFL boards (internationalschoolsreview, etc).

Separate registration is required for the Korean Job Forums. |
