Were Lincoln Colleges awarded the "Directorate General of Prisons"
contract?

No, the governmental agency, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, and not foreign entities, oversees training in the prisons:

Quote:
Public Joint Programs

These are programs that are carried out jointly between TVTC and other Governmental Agencies:

• Military Training Institutes
These are joint programs with the Military Agencies.

• Vocational Training Institutes in Prison
These are joint programs with the Directorate General for Prisons. They offer vocational programs for the prisoners.

Haven't you got any knittin to do?

TVTC = Technical and Vocational Training Corporation.

And the file dates back to 2011, as usual looking back on what was supposed to have happened.

As for LC. It's a joke. HODs should be "headed" for chop square.

The link doesn't open. Do you have another one? I did a quick search on google and couldn't find any reference to Lincoln getting a new contract with Saudi prisons.

Yeah thanks Babur. It's an interesting article but doesn't mention any link with Lincoln to Saudi prisons so I am curious where that link is.

I am just as curious to know of the licenses revoked, which were managed by foreign training providers, if any, although it does mention the private sector where many ply their trade.

I find it hard to believe that of the 59 licenses issued to training facilities managed by the private sector, of the 24 cancelled, that all were managed by Saudis. There must've been some foreign training providers in there as well given it was the private sector so it would be very interesting to know which ones.

I'm willing to bet we would see some household names on that list.

The figures are instructive - out of 126 licenses issued by TVTC, 59 were cancelled. That is an appalling rate of attrition, very nearly 50%.

Yet further evidence of the corruption and mis-management rife in the Saudi further education system.
