I'm living in China and getting frustrated with mail not being delivered due to their incompetence. So I have the idea to have my mail delivered to a collection service in Hong Kong and taking a bullet train on a weekend and picking my mail up there. Is using the Hongkong Post counter collection service reliable? |

+1. HK Post has always worked well for me. Seems an expensive detour just to get your mail though. Unless you were planning to visit HK anyway? |

These days bullet trains from a lot of places in China are fast and not that expensive. It only takes 3 1/2 hours and 400RMB to get to Hong Kong. Besides, as anyone who's in the mainland knows, sometimes a shopping trip to HK is a necessity. |

Not just people in the mainland who are aware of it, unfortunately. |
