I have worked here, unfortunately.

They have an office in cool Milan and beautiful Rome. However, I never had a chance to explore the wonders of Italy (even on the weekends) as the workload, payment issues and dealing with nasty superiors was too much.

Speaking from experience, being and employee at The Language Grid was a nightmare, it was the worst job I’ve ever had.

I was working way beyond my contracted hours! I would spend my weekends in my apartment trying to finish off the tasks at an "excellent standard"...by 'excellent' I mean examiner type level (I wasn't paid THAT well!) and by 'standard' I mean The Language Grid 'made up' standards. Even if your work is ground breaking...you will most likely have to do it again. How depressing and demotivating.

They talk alot (I mean ALOT!) about "collaboration" - it's just PR! No support at all. What a load of rubbish!

Agree with LanguageTeacher/Explorer: worst job ever! Shocked

The Language Grid is the best thing since slice bread according to the supervisors - I couldn't disagree more! When I first started, they told the group and I quote: "we are not friends and we will not become friends, you are here to do as you are told"...FRIENDS? Are they kidding?! So arrogant.

The Language Grid: Get over yourself!
