What is the usual tax and insurance in China? If a job in China offers a sum of 18000RMB as a pre- tax, insurance figure then what is the net pay? |

Honestly, I doubt anyone on this board could tell you exactly. Rough guesses sure, but different locations have different insurance deductions, most places don't have any, but for example, Beijing does (I think it's 10%).

It is in Beijing so 10% looks about right. Feel awkward about asking employer for some reason? Thanks for replying. Majority of posters ignore this type of topic?
Some salaries in China look closer to Saudi salaries if you only have TEFL and first degree. Tho in China tax and insurance have to be paid but then cost of living free accommodation can equal out the difference. |
