Who came to this country to splooge
He married a Pole
And fell into a financial hole
Until Babcia gave him słoiki of food

To Germany travelled a team from Warsaw
Which suffered from an inability to score
Their goal an open gate
Sure enough, they let in eight
But at least they managed to notch up four

minus sixteen is their goal diff.
it really put their fans in a tiff
competition was too heavy
they've played five already
looks like that's the end of their stint

Lodz is a pretty cool town.
From a historical stand point it's absolutely worth visiting.
Here's an article I wrote few years back about one of the many festivals in Lodz.

There once was a man from Ursynow
A place full of rich skurwysynow
He drank on the job and was a real slob
