Hi I'm a Canadian who worked in Costa Rica from 2005 to 2010 and enjoyed the experience immensely. I lived in the Pavas area of San Jose and was employed at Conversa...wonderful school and staff!!Like any country there were pros and cons in regards to daily life there but the weather and lifestyle were definite good points.I also had the opportunity to do volunteer work in SJ which was an eyeopener.Idiomas Mundiales is a relatively new school in SJ and one of my friends just returned to Canada after having taught there from Jan-Apr...he says it was a very positive experience working there and the staff and students were great. All the best to anyone who is relocating to CR!! J
