I think unless a big red flag comes up the offered position looks OK, especially if Oral English.
The lack of access to current or former teachers is a 'caution' rather than a red flag.
Do have a bailout plan though.

Having the funds to get yourself out of a bad situation is very important in China.
Never let an employer in China know that you are having money problems.
Many Chinese employers will take advantage of you in that situation. |
