Recent election results are disturbing - especially in Sachsen-Anhalt. The "Brown Ones" in the guise of Alternative fuer Deutschland are coming !

Chancellor Angela Merkel's reputation for political impregnability was badly shaken this week when her Christian Democrat party suffered major setbacks in three state elections - a rebuff, as many see it, of her controversial 'open-door' refugee policy.
The CDU was defeated in the western states of Baden-Wurttemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate, and lost votes, though not power, in the poor eastern state of Saxony-Anhalt. By contrast, the far-right Alternative for Germany, AfD, party made huge gains., winning 24 per cent in Saxony-Anhalt.
The AfD is a party that advocates shooting at migrants who cross the border illegally. Yet its appeal clearly extends beyond such depressed eastern states as Saxony-Anholt and into the more prosperous west. This is a startling performance for a party launched only 3 years ago.
The AdF leader,Frauke Petry, studied at the University of Reading, England, and is a member of the Royal Society, and only last summer took control of a small and faltering Eurosceptic party. Since then, she has been an ubiquitous presence on TV talk shows, managing to convey an impression of crisp, modern efficiency.
Through a single mistake - throwing open the frontiers - Merkel has jeopardized her entire legacy. The demons of xenophobia and racial hatred have been let loose in Europe's most prosperous nation. |

I would think Mutti Merkel's multikulti has just taken another hit, courtesy of Brussels Airport. |

The Brown Ones are back. I recommend a look again at Bert Brecht's work on Arturo Ui. |

Why does the reaction to years of unrestricted migration that the general public never was consulted about, have to be characterised as xenophobia and racial hatred?
Actions by the elite left who want new generations of compliant voters and industry who want low wage workers, have driven the general public to this.
Like Trump it may not be pretty but it is well overdue. |

Good to know there are still Germans today who actually have a national identity and actually care to protect their homeland and the future of German society.
The incompetent status quo political parties are counterproductive. Die Linke made up of ex. Stasi officers/RAF terrorists, SPD's agents of the KGB, their open door immigration with no questions asked, no background checks, and the CDU's open door policy with a promise to hire more police officers. As if that will help.

It's like this. There's East (former/still GDR) Germany and Deutsch LAND (West Germany). Berlin is only the federal capital. Fact is, Germany is run from Frankfurt.
As for Berlin's airport building site. Well, East Germans have never built an airport before. Theirs were all Russian-built.
Remember John Cleese's "Don't mention the War!". Fast-forward to 2017. It's "Don't mention the airport!"
Many retired teachers have joined the AfD.
"Biedermann und die Brandstifter" (The Arsonists), Max Frisch (1953). |
