Hello!
How long do you guys keep your resumes? I used to have a two page resume, but I currently updated it and it's nearly 4 pages.
Thanks,

You have too much info on your CV. But it's generally one page in length if you're a newbie/novice, but no more than two pages unless you're a PhD with decades of experience and umpteen publications.
You apparently didn't see the thread, How good is your CV? for tips on CV/resume writing. I suggest you add your questions to that related discussion; CV length was mentioned on it. |

Basically remove everything that isn't directly relevant to the job you are seeking.
And as nomad says, check out the other thread. It's really useful. |

From an American standpoint, I have understood it that résumés should be kept to one to two pages in length (and as scot47 indicated, one page is better) and academic CVs can be much more detailed and much longer, as nomad soul indicated, with more experience and publications and presentations garnering more pages.

For entry level EFL jobs I think you will find that 1-2 pages is more than adequate since most people reading your resume won't understand the nuances of your finely crafted document anyway.
They are ONLY interested in:
A) Can you get legal (as in visa and permits)?
B) Are you ready to fly?
C) Do you meet their must have hiring criteria (usually the minimum to get legal).
You can pretty much skip everything else if you are applying to entry level EFL positions. The person reading it will likely not be an English speaker and won't understand anything too complex.
If you are applying to more advanced positions (and you have advance qualifications) then either a more complete resume or a full CV might be more appropriate.
