The English school that uses this website to advertise for teachers in Ukraine has recently gotten some of their teachers in serious troubles! To get around the 90/180 day rule the Eng school got FAKE stamps put in their teachers passports to allow them to continue working illegally! They had to do this because the school was being checked constantly by immigration for teachers overstaying! BUT recently some teachers tried to cross the border and they got in BIG trouble with passport control! Apparently the FAKE stamps in their passport DID NOT show on the database! They were charged with fraud and criminal proceedings will follow! The school of course denied all involvement and just tries to get new teachers and sacrifice the old teachers! Teachers wanting to teach Ukraine be aware!

This wouldn't happen to be the infamous American English Center, would it?

There is only one school advertising for jobs in Ukraine on this site! The school couldn't get away with what they do if the teachers weren't so IGNORANT of the fact that they know they are working and staying illegally in Ukraine!

I searched "Ukraine" through this site's job listings going back to April, 2014 and received six different employers offering positions in Ukraine. One school had a majority of the ads but it is not correct that only one school advertises on this site. Can't imagine why anyone would want to move there now anyhow, unless they enjoy being there for the thrill of being there when the newest Russian satellite is invaded.

The School promised the teachers last year that Immigration would not bother the teachers at the school anymore BUT it looks like the well ran dry and the Immigration officials came back to the cash cow for some more milk if you know what I mean. Anyways there were some casualties but it is an acceptable loss since there is no other option for the school and the school still seems to be able to lure in more 3rd rate teachers to do their bidding until they can be sacrificed! lol

I have no idea who was caught because it is very humiliating and people who got busted do not brag about it but I do know that the school encourages them to stay at their own risk! Now you can understand why we have a problem with illegals staying in the U.S. because the illegals there don't want to leave and they try to run and hide and hope nobody will catch them again! lol But more seriously if you try to stay after you get deported you can be banned for up to 5 years and refused residency or a visa in the future!

Maybe a list should be drawn up of the dodgy schools in order to warn potential teachers away from them.

A list of the schools that aren't dodgy would be a much shorter list, there might not be any names even on such a list! ha ha

First it was the multi-entry biz visa, then it was a religious missionary visa, now this!

The mgmt. at this school don't give a shit about their teachers, only about the bottom line. To anyone here who might be considering working for AEC: don't do it! Get your first qualification and try to get in with a legitimate school!

The English schools in Ukraine trick Americans to come and then give them the runaround about getting a visa. They always try encourage you to overstay by saying you just pay a small admin fee when you leave. But in actuality they force you to BREAK THE LAW and if you ever fill out an application in any country and it asks if you ever broke the law then truthfully you would have to say YES!

Usually people who break the rules in Ukraine just pay a bribe and get on with their lives! But if they continue to be repeat offenders for sure they will get banned at some point...

Why not to for those who want to teach Ukrainian or Russian as well to try first to teach them via Skype? There are a few agencies that can help you legally find the right person to teach you in the comfort of your home like repetitors.info or www.virtualacademy.ru
