I have recently completed a 2 year contract with I Can Read Singapore and had a positive experience. The management and HR are very approachable and supportive towards their employees. There is very much a sense of team spirit and community. The company regularly organises events for the company including Club Med trips and social / team building events.
The teaching requires limited preparation as the lessons follow a structured programme. Class sizes are a maximum size of eight children so classroom management isn't a big challenge. Teachers have two week days off and work all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Week day hours begin in the afternoon which allows you to pursue hobbies or interests in the morning.
The holidays are good and there is a lot of opportunity for South East Asian travel.
On completion of my contract I received a full bonus plus flights to and from Singapore. I would recommend this company.
