Hi,
I have an interview with Abu Dhabi Polytechnic. Anyone know anything about it? Good place to work? They offer a tax free salary and education allowance. My biggest question - is the education allowance enough for the international schools?
I've worked in China for the last 7 years and I'm not really familiar with the UAE.
Any info is much appreciated! |

The Emirates are very expensive. If you haven't done so yet, I would spend a few hours reading threads on this page about the rapidly increasing negatives of work there. Pay and benefits have been dropping for the last few years as costs have increased. A key factor for you to consider is housing costs and how that is covered... or not... by the employer.
The education allowances haven't covered the costs for years.
