As an ESL teacher in Vietnam, how much do you typically have left over after all of your basic living expenses have been covered (not including payments to student loan debts, etc.)? |

People posting here seem to have some expensive habits!
When I was in VN a few years ago, I earned a little over $2000 a month, with accommodation. My living costs were food, beer and taxis, which left me with well over $1000 each month. |

Maybe that's because not all of us are boozepackers... |
