I have been accepted for employment at Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College in Al Ain starting this August and am awaiting my visa. Does anybody have any knowledge of what it is like to work at this college? And is everything on the up and up at KBZAC? I assume that because the students are in the military that they are more disciplined than the Saudi students I have taught in the past. Am I assuming correctly? I would appreciate any information you guys could provide. Thanks. |

If they are like military students in Saudi, I fear that you could have a tough time. |

Not bad back around 2003/4 when a few of us moved from MLI in Abu Dhabi to scenic/tranquil and un-humid.We had some characters there esp.the Canadians and a couple of Irishmen, one of whom was "the manager"but he jumped ship to UGRU when the going got rough.Loved going to swim in their olympic sized pool.In the end they only kept the women on. |
