Does anyone have any current information about teaching at XJTLU, including Ts and Cs, living in or near Suzhou, teaching hours, and anything that could be helpful.
Thanks in advance. |

I believe that's the Xi'an Liverpool University in SIP. I played football around there before and it's a fairly nice area albeit a little isolated. I can't tell you much about it except that it exists, which is something.
SIP is a very nice area though. |

No complaints.
Mostly functional, serious British style EAP courses.
Plenty of downtime, too much?
The city is a little dull but a good place to save money |

You've got this the wrong way around. Don't upfront on Daves. Apply, get an offer and contract then ask for comments. |

Seconding everything svenhassel said (except the downtime - no such things as too much!).
Worked there for many years, but eventually left because of the aforementioned dullness (and weather, and pollution, and locals).
Short answer - overall positive. Happy to answer PMs. |

If it's the same place that I looked up on google maps then it's only a short distance from Shanghai which should mean a quick bus or train ride should cure any boredom. |
