Does anyone have any information about this employer? They teach IELTS prep courses and are interviewing on Google+; they said Skype was blocked in Oman. Any information would be appreciated.

No idea about them specifically but yes, skype IS blocked in Oman as most video calls programs are. Something to keep in mind if you decide to move to Oman, you will have to pay for a VPN.

There are free VPN extensions available for browsers like google chrome; why pay?

I can't find anything on a London Training Institute. Could it be the British Training Institute?

Update:

The British Training Institute is near the Wave and is CfBT advertising IELTS courses.

London Training Institute seems to be new. It is in Qurum in a new building across from Qurum Park. The building is at the bottom of the road that takes you to Hawthorn.

No word on either place.

I just saw their job advert on Dave's and, to me, it doesn't seem to be 'all that'. The pay is, more or less, pretty standard, you are expected to do twenty-five teaching hours a week (manageable, but on the high side) and you only get 1 month of annual holidays (most employers offer 2 months). Personally, I'd pass as there are much better deals out there.

Who are Red Chair recruiting for? The salaries are 15,600 – 16,800 Omani Rial per year - have they entered the recruitment for the Higher Colleges?

London Training Institute have a second centre - it's in Al Hail on the same side road as the Mars hypermarket.
