I've noticed more and more schools are going for this option. Basically, you work for a school but have to pay someone else for the joy of that after sending someone else some materials, so they can do a tax fidlle saying your a materials writer/artist.
Correct me if I'm wrong but employers are meant to offer you a proper work contract after 3 months if they are the ones 'directing' you.
It used to be the 'paying you through a UK company scam' which is basically illegal in the UK as it's not what the minimum taxable allowance is designed for ie people who work in other cuntries not the UK.
By the way, for any new people here, a legal letter generally gets you what you want from a school as they don't want 'officaldom' knowing what they are really doing. I did it to Empik. Letter from a lawyer, got paid. Twoj Start Up too.
TEFL Poland is just so wrong it's ridiculous. |
