When I saw she was 19 I knew there was going to be trouble with not having a degree.

Not sure Simon, not an expert on the Chinese justice system. It could be that employing someone illegally is not a jail-able offense whereas violating immigration law is jail-able. Might also be that, unlike the company, she was unable to pay the fine and, therefore, she was detained. Just speculation.
Sad thing is if she had just done a little research, then none of it would have happened. |

Did anyone find the mistake in the article?
Also, I saw her name and immediately recollected that niemand means "no one" in German, oh, oh, oh.
Yeah, 19 and no degree, I immediately thought what rioux thought as well.
