This is a bit of a long shot as no one is ever on this forum! but I have had a very general questions from an ex student.
He has the choice to go to either Brisbane or Adelaide to study and train as a Chinese and English secondary school teacher. He wants to know his would be best in terms of employment after his masters. My first impression from a quick read of the boards is that either will be quite competitive and he will end up back in China... but I don’t really know. I’ve never even been to Australia.
Does anyone have any thoughts on these two cities to live, study or work?
Thanks! |

Full disclosure, I am from Sydney. Have never been to Adelaide, so it's just hearsay.
I would definitely choose Brisbane, as its more populated/more job opportunities and would feel less isolating. However, if he wants PR then check out states that offer extra ''Points'' i.e. Tasmania. Brisbane is pretty hot and humid though. Not everyone likes that sort of whether. |
