Hi there,
my name is Rafael and I have been teaching english in Bangkok for the last 4 months with my girldfriend.I'm spanish and have an university diploma and a tefl certificate and she is irish with degree and tefl.We have been thinking for some time to teach in either Vietnam or Cambodia, but we just can't make up our minds! We've heard that the money is good in Vietnam, but people, specially in Hanoi, are not very friendly. On the other hand, people in Cambodia seem to be nice, but the money and teaching standards not so good.
Can anybody help us out?
Thanks in advance
Rafa |

Maybe they're not there for Thailand's most obvious commodity? |

I would suggest that you check out teaching in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and if you aren't happy there, then you can easily make a move to Phnom Penh, Cambodia with is just a few hours away. |
