Does anyone have any information about Bucaramanga and English-teaching positions? I have a bachelor's (in journalism) and will soon be TEFL certified.
I've talked to the Centro Colombo Americano school there and they said they only offer one class per day to teachers (so not enough to live on).
ANY HELP AT ALL would be most appreciated!!
I would like to have a job lined up before moving there... |

You should try bigger cities for the Colombo Americano. I know that the one in Medellin is hiring right now for January.

Or do you specifically need to be in Bucaramanga? |

You may also try bilingual school. I know for sure La Quinta Del Puente located in Floridablanca (kinda suburb, a small town near Bucaramanga) is a bilingual school. You can visit their website for more info:

Another good school in Bucaramanga is Colegio San Pedro Claver. I don't think it is bilingual but I think in Colombia almost every school teaches English.http://www.sanpedro.edu.co
hope that helps! |

Thanks!
Do you know if most bilingual schools require a degree in education and teacher certification? I don't have this.
Thanks again! |
